About

Victoria A. Mullen is a dual US-Greek citizen, writer, and actor whose interdisciplinary practice leverages the analytical precision of a background in law for systematic research. Her photographs and writing have been featured in numerous literary magazines, giving her approach an emphasis on methodical documentation and textual interpretation alongside visual evidence. This methodology is currently supported by forthcoming residencies in the South of France in September 2026 and in Havana, Cuba in January 2027.

Her artwork is an interdisciplinary study of place, combining photographic research, conceptual writing, and abstract composition. She explores material history by creating layered compositions that document how time and history mark both natural and built surfaces, often contrasting historical figures or texts against textures of decay and patina. She treats environments as archives of material and textual data, systematically documenting fragmented indices to frame the visual piece as a site of historical inquiry.
